Prefer shutters? Sydney Curtains & Blinds’ shutters are of excellent quality at competitive prices.
Basswood is our preferred timber due to its reliability over time. Basswood shutters are available in quality painted polyurethane or stained for a more natural timber colour.
PVC shutters are also available and recommended in wet areas such as bathrooms. Our PVC shutters are also painted in our quality polyurethane colours which gives them a nice soft look. Many of our competitors’ PVC shutters are not painted and often still show extrusion lines from when they were made.
We also offer a variety of different frame types to suit each window style.
Some companies will only offer what is quick and easy for them to fit. We instead offer three different louvre widths on both our basswood and PVC shutters:
- 114mm is the widest and will give the clearest view when open but may not suit all windows;
- 89mm wide louvres are by far the most popular – versatile with a modern, attractive look;
- 64mm is the narrowest louvre size – great for small window recesses.
What’s even better is that each of these louvre widths are the same price!
